Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, County Road 528 in Elba, will celebrate with the Rev. Rubin McKinnon on his eighth anniversary as pastor on Sunday, July 6, at 3 p.m. The Rev. J.G. Chatman of Trinity Baptist Church in Troy will be the guest.

A revival will be held at Kinsey Baptist Church July 13-16. Services will begin at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. week nights. Guest speaker will be Mike Shirah.

The Gospel Heralds from Appalachian Bible College will be in concert at Dothan Community Church on Wednesday, July 9, at 6:30 p.m. Vocal and instrumental selections, English Handbell numbers, personal testimonies and a mini-drama combine for this concert experience. Admission is free.

The Klondyke Gospel Music Center at 3885 Highway 123 South will host the following July performances: The Larch Family of Wetumpka on July 11; The Martin Family of Warrior, July 12; Sounds of Glory of Columbus, Ga., July 18; Soldiers of Luverne, July 19; Ron Brewer of Summerville, Ga., July 25; and The Bledsoles of Dobson, N.C., will make their Wiregrass Area debut on July 26, at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge.

Bethel Baptist Church near Hartford, Geneva County Road 69, will be celebrating its annual homecoming activities on Sunday, July 13. Services will begin at 10 a.m. with special music by Ed Quattlebaum. A former pastor and musician, Quattlebaum will also be delivering the morning worship message at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall following the services.
