“When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder?,” Featured Players Theatre, Dothan, at 158 S. Foster St. Set in the summer of 1969 in a diner in New Mexico, the play revolves around a night chef, his co-workers and a group of customers. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children. “Bus Stop,” Opus Nostrum Dinner Theatre, 115 W. Church St. in Headland. Dinner catered by Bishop’s Homestyle Cooking. “Bus Stop” revolves around a group of bus passengers stranded during a snow storm at a roadside diner. Other performances will be July 25-26. Crosscreek Junction grand opening, 7 p.m. The new 300-seat facility at 212 Johnny Murphy Road off Highway 109 outside of Dothan will feature country, bluegrass and gospel musicians. “Greater Tuna,” Understudy Dinner Theatre at the Dothan Dance Club, 2563 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan. In this send-up about small town life in Tuna, Texas, 20 characters are played by two actors, Garrett Brolund and Ron DeVane. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30.
