Dothan man charged with sex abuse of child under the age of 5

Houston County Sheriff’s arrested a 57-year-old Dothan man Tuesday and charged him with sex abuse of a child under the age of 5, according to a statement released by Capt. Antonio Gonzalez.
Investigators charged Roberto Salinas Jr., of Alabama Highway 52, with felony enticing a child for immoral purposes and felony sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. Deputies responded to a the reported sex abuse Sunday, which allegedly happened Salinas’ home, according to the statement. The assaults were reported to have occurred on Saturday.
Salinas is being held in the Houston County Jail on a $45,000 bond.
