A Houston County judge sentenced an Enterprise man Tuesday to serve six years in prison for two recent rape convictions.
Judge Ed Jackson sentenced Juan Miguel Gomez-Ramirez after he pleaded guilty in August to two felony second-degree rape charges.
Gomez-Ramirez, 24, of Alabama Highway 134, was arrested in February nearly two years after the offense happened.
Assistant District Attorney Arthur Medley told the court Gomez-Ramirez recently received a two year sentence for similar charges in Coffee County.
