Four Iris Road residents were arrested Wednesday and charged in connection with the May 16 burglary of a Houston County church.
According to information from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Bradley Young, 25, Matthew Heath Reaume, 27, Stephanie Nichol Haney, 32, and Lawkeiska Ann Tidwell, 25, who all live at 2129 Iris Road, are charged with third-degree burglary and illegal possession of a credit card and debit card, both class C felonies. Bonds for each were set at $15,000.
All four are suspected of breaking into Harper’s Joy Assembly of God Church on Harper Joy Road. Entry was gained through an old window air conditioning opening, then by breaking through the sheet rock. A lock was removed from a safe box containing cash, check books and a credit card.
The suspects attempted to use the credit card at several local businesses, according to the sheriff’s office.
Warrants were served Wednesday at the Iris Road residence, where the four suspects were arrested.
