OZARK – A Millbrook man who traveled to Ozark to visit who he thought was a girl under the age of 16 he had met online was booked into the Dale County Jail under no bond on Wednesday, according to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Wally Olson said Larry Joe Frank, 44, of Deatsville Highway in Millbrook was charged with child molestation after investigators who had posed as the girl online were waiting for him at the undisclosed “meeting” place in Ozark.
Olson said meetings with Frank had been set up on at least three different occasions and that Frank could have been in the Wiregrass before.
His capture was the result of a joint investigation between the sheriff’s office and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation, Olson said.
