Rabid raccoon found in Houston County

The seventh case of animal rabies in Houston County this year was confirmed after a raccoon found on Harden Road tested positive for the disease.

According to information from the Houston County Health Department, a resident discovered the raccoon fighting with their dog and asked to have the raccoon tested for rabies. The dog had been vaccinated and there was no known human contact with the raccoon.

Thank PETA and the other “animals are people,too” advocates for killing the wild fur trade. Over population breeds, among other problems, rabies.....Fact not propaganda.
