An Aug. 2 story in the Dothan Eagle tells about a K-9 Sheriff dog, a Belgian Malinois, killing two Pomeranian dogs, a 5-year-old dog and a 7-month-old puppy.
The sheriff stated the fence was four feet high. The K-9, I surmise, had to be at least 18 inches high at shoulder’s length and weighed at least 40 pounds. The Pomeranian must have stood less than 12 inches and weighed less than 10 pounds, yet the sheriff did not know which dog started the fight.
If the K-9 was outside the fence, it doesn’t take a sheriff or anyone with an IQ of 80 or above to figure out who started the fight. It would be like sending two first graders in a boxing ring to kick George Foreman’s butt.
