Bethany Lott is a homemade New Brockton native and she is happy to return to her roots as a teacher. Lott, who graduated from Auburn University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in collaborative special education, said she glad to be home.

For about one month, Lott has held the position at NBES, first teaching at Fleeta Junior High with the Covington County School System. Now, she instructs kindergarten through sixth-grade students at New Brockton Elementary School in special education.
