In January of 2013 the State Elections Division in conjunction with the local Board of Registrars will begin the next cycle of the state’s Voter File Maintenance program.  The cycle will start with a mass mailing to all registered voters in the county and statewide.  The purpose of the mailing is to determine whether the address on each voter’s record remains valid.  This process is done every four year years.

Voters that have not updated their residence or mailing information changes with the Board of Registrars’ Office are encouraged to do so to avoid having their name potentially removed from the voter list.  The Registrars’ Office is located at the New Brockton Farm Center and is open 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.  Changes or updates must be done in person or writing and not over the phone.
