The letter from U.S. Coast Guard Commandant, Admiral Paul F. Zukunft states that after careful consideration, the U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation station in Eufaula will remain open.

Eufaula Police report arrests

A 13-year-old juvenile was arrested Thursday at AMMS on possession of a deadly weapon on school grounds charge. According to Det. Donald Brown, the juvenile was in possession of a BB gun.

National championships change some for the worst

They know that they are coaches, which makes them in the grand scheme of things no better than a police officer, no better than a rec center instructor, and dang sure no better than a second-grade teacher.

Eufaula Police arrest three on drug charges

Alexsandra K. Lepore, 20, and Amanda Jean Dunn, 19, both of Tewksbury, Ma. were arrested Tuesday on possession of drug paraphernalia charge each. Lepore was also charged with possession of marijuana second degree.
