The Barbour County High Jaguars recently held their spring athletic banquet honoring students and coaches in basketball, cheerleading and track and field held in the school cafeteria.
Cheerleader awards were given out by Ms. Bridgette Davis and Coach Jesse Morrow did junior varsity basketball.
Some of the awards given were most valuable offensive player-Christian Patterson and most valuable defensive player-Demetrius Boykin.
Coach White and Morrow gave out boys varsity basketball awards. Travon Patterson, (who recently signed a scholarship with Selma Community College) was named MVP; Emanuel Thompson Jr.-MVP offense; Marcus Johnson-most valuable point guard; Brion Patrick-most valuable center and Justin Hobdy-most improved along with other team members who got awards.
