Enterprise police arrested a convicted sex offender Thursday about 1:30 p.m. after he reportedly failed to register with the sheriff’s office as a sex offender.

Michael David Andrews, 46, of Rucker Boulevard in Enterprise, was placed on a $15,000 bond, according to police reports.

In an unrelated case, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department narcotics investigators and Elba police also arrested an Elba woman about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

According to reports, officers arrested Kelekia Denise Magwood, 19, of Hickman Ave. Regency

Apartments, Elba, after drugs were found in the apartment.
Magwood was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of marijuana.
