It is unfathomable to me that anyone would oppose a legal business that would bring job opportunities to the Wiregrass area.

I realize that the developer of Country Crossing, Ronnie Gilley, has said that it will bring more people into our area and create revenue, but it will also provide jobs for people already here who cannot find a job at all.

The owners of the company I work for were astounded by the number of applicants they received for a receptionist at minimum wage — 50 and counting! Some of these applicants have master’s degrees. I beg the people of Houston County to help their fellow citizens find more opportunity for employment at Country Crossing.
