						<description><![CDATA[Last summer, two incumbent Dothan commissioners who supported a sales tax increase several months earlier were ousted by voters in a wave of anti-tax sentiment. The voters&#8217; umbrage was so strong in District 4 that political newcomer John Craig defeated Jason Rudd with virtually no campaigning other than knocking on doors in the district. He flew so far under the radar that residents outside of District 4 had no idea who he was or what he stood for, other than the obvious: voters saw Rudd as the tax increase guy and elected Craig as the anti-tax alternative. ]]></description>
