Temple Emanu-El will host its annual Neighbor Night on Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. The synagogue, located 188 N. Park Ave. in Dothan, began the annual tradition 18 years ago, inviting members of area faith-based organizations to attend a Sabbath service. During the worship, the rabbi offers an explanation of the service, and there is time set aside for questions. A reception, called Oneg Shabbat, will be held after the service. The purpose of Neighbor Night is to promote understanding between Jews in the Dothan community and others. For more information, call 334-792-5001.

A Deliverance Revival with Prophet J. Lester Dawsey will be held Feb. 15-16 at 7 p.m. at T.O.P.S. Ministries at 805 N. Lena St. in Dothan (formerly Evergreen Plaza). Dawsey is with Bethel Fellowship Church and Called Out People International Ministries. For more information, call 334-791-2433.

First United Pentecostal Church, 301 S. Ward St., Geneva, will hold a weekend revival Feb. 15-17 with Brother John Cureton of Dothan. Service times will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Klondyke Gospel Music Center, located halfway between Newton and Ozark at 3885 Highway 123 S., will host Billy Gene Dickerson from Dothan, Feb. 15; Witness 4 Him from Wedowee, Feb. 16; The Bread of Life Singers from Dahlonega, Ga., Feb. 22; The Waylighters from Bessemer, Feb. 23. First Missionary Baptist Church, 311 W. Church St., Columbia, will hold its annual revival Feb. 15-March 1 with services at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Sam Jackson, pastor of Liberty Christian Church in Dothan. All churches invited.

The Davis-McLeod District of Churches of God in Christ will hold a State Purity Convention on Feb. 16. A Wisdom and Truth Conference will be held Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at Jackson Chapel Church of God in Christ in Capps. The church’s women’s department is hosting the conference that will focus on the relationships between husbands and wives and parents and children.

An Open Air Service with Evangelist W.D. Dozier will be held Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Helping Hand Thrift Store, 708 S. Main St., Enterprise. Grant Chapel AME Church in Ashford will celebrate its annual Founder’s Day Observance on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Eric Walker, pastor of New Seed of Faith AME Church of Birmingham.

Living Waters Church of God in Christ in Hartford will hold a Restoration Revival on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 4 p.m. The speaker will be Superintendent Loearl Flowers of the Greenville District.

Cottonwood First Baptist Church will host The Drummond Family from Chipley, Fla., in concert on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. The concert is free, but an offering will be taken for the group. The church is located at 12702 Cottonwood Road.

New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Allen Road, Dothan, will celebrate its annual Men’s and Women’s Day on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2:30 p.m. Guest minister will be the Rev. Alfonso Neal, pastor of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Webb.

Revival services will be held at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, located at 4015 Highway 27, in Enterprise on Feb. 17-20. Service times are 6 p.m. on Sunday and 7 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday. First United Methodist Church of Dothan is bringing The Power Team to Dothan on Feb. 21-24 to perform feats of strength and share the love of Jesus Christ. The Power Team appeared on “America’s Got Talent” as well as “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart. While in Dothan, they will be visiting several local schools to perform. Their mission is to reach people of all ages who would typically not attend an event in a church setting. This free event occurs nightly at 7 p.m. in the Christian Life Center of the church, located on the corner of Park Avenue and West Main Street in Dothan.
