Dothan police are looking for a 28-year-old Dothan woman on a felony charge in connection to a robbery last week that left an elderly victim injured.

Dothan Police Lt. Will Benny confirmed police are looking for Stephanie Sherese Ward. Police have charged Ward with felony first-degree robbery.

Benny said the robbery happened at a Dothan apartment last Thursday during which an elderly victim was left injured.

Police are also looking for a second person also believed to have been involved in the robbery.

Court records show Ward is also a two-time convicted felon. Records show Ward pleaded guilty to a cocaine possession charge, and was convicted of chemical of a child charge in 2010.

According to a Dothan police statement, police released a description of Ward as a woman being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds.

Anyone with information about Ward can call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 334-793-7000.

Anyone with information can also text the word ‘DACS’ and your Tip to CRIME (274637).

The Dothan Police Department will guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to help anonymously.
