A Dothan man faces multiple felony charges in connection to a shooting that occurred during the burglary of an occupied home last weekend.

According to a Dothan police statement, police arrested Lance Byrant, 32, of Kinsey Road, and charged him with first-degree burglary, shooting into an occupied dwelling and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle.

The statement said the charges stemmed from police responding to a report of a shooting at an occupied home in the 2600 block of Creekwood Drive on Saturday. The statement called the shooting domestic motivated.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Court records show police charged Bryant with using a .40-caliber handgun to shoot into a home occupied by a woman and an unoccupied vehicle.

Bryant was taken to the Houston County Jail and held on $550,000 bail.
