OZARK—At least nine Dale County residents face felony and misdemeanor drug charges after a two-month-long undercover investigation by multiple agencies.
According to Wiregrass Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force Commander Marlos Walker, the task force worked with the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and Ozark Police Department to make the arrests throughout Dale County. Several of the arrests took place in Daleville, Ozark and Skipperville.
“We want anyone in the community that believes there is drug activity in their area to contact us because this is an ongoing process,” Walker said.
“We don’t want to give the bad guys any additional information, so we don’t release information until we’ve gotten to a certain stage.”
Walker said the investigation is expected to continue.
