Dothan police are looking for the man who robbed a Dothan bank around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
The robbery happened at the BB&T Bank located at 1962 W. Main St.
Dothan Police Cpl. Maurice Eggleston said police are looking for a white male standing about 6 feet tall who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a turquoise bandana across his face at the time of the robbery.
Eggleston said the man also had a yellow baseball or skull cap underneath the hood.
Police are not sure yet if the robber was armed. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A Dothan police K-9 is on the ground, helping search for the suspect.
The nearby Sun South Bank was robbed April 3, but Eggleston said he wouldn't call this a rash of bank robberies.
"Acts like this are just an act of opportunity," he said. "In some cases this is a lone person who may have just come in and decided this was the day he was going to try this."
Dothan Fire Department EMTs arrived at the bank just before 11:30 a.m. No injuries to anybody inside the bank were reported, however.
Anyone with information on the robber's whereabouts should call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000.
