A Dothan woman faces a felony assault charge after Dothan police say she struck a man with a vehicle Friday.

According to a Dothan police statement, police arrested Robin Brackins, 44, of Little Oak Court, and charged her with felony first-degree assault.

The charge stemmed from police responding to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 100 block of Little Oak Court. Police said the victim suffered multiple broken bones and cuts, which were treated at a local hospital.

The police statement said the assault stemmed from a domestic dispute.

Brackins was taken to the Houston County Jail and held on $30,000 bail.
