Wiregrass Foundation provides $443,000 technology grant

The Houston County Schools recently received a substantial grant from the Wiregrass Foundation to help upgrade their technological infrastructure.

The Wiregrass Foundation has awarded a $440,000 grant to the county schools to help improve technology. Houston County School Superintendent Tim Pitchford said the grant will be used to buy new laptops for teachers and upgrade computer labs throughout the school system, along with other upgrades to the system’s technical infrastructure.
