Dothan city schools loosen up cell phone policy

The Dothan City School Board approved a new policy on Monday to liberalize the system’s cell phone policy for high school students and also addressed a broad range of other issues.

Under the new policy, students at Dothan High School and Northview High School will be able to use their cell phones and mobile devices during non-instructional time, such as breaks, while they’re changing classes or while they’re on the bus.
