TUSCALOOSA – ‘Tis the season, isn’t it? Alabama started preparations for its third BCS Championship Game in the past four years on Tuesday.

Oh, and Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban said – again – that his level of contentment in college football is as high as it always has been.
