Each March, the Wiregrass Museum of Art hosts Youth Art Month, an event celebrated around the country. The month includes a juried exhibition of art by K-12 students from the Wiregrass region, as well as Out of the (Art) Box, an installation competition for middle and high school students.

The public is invited to the March 3rd opening reception at the Wiregrass Museum of Art, which will include the announcement of several merit awards, including the 2nd Congressional Art Competition, open to 11th and 12th graders living in the 2nd Congressional District of Alabama.

The Youth Art Month Exhibition at WMA will be open through March 28th.

The Youth Art Month opening reception is free and open to the public. General admission to WMA is always free.
