Dates and opponents have been set for Enterprise High School’s 2019 football season and Rick Darlington’s first year at the helm of the Wildcats.

Enterprise will be in Wildcat Stadium for the opener on Aug. 23 against an unfamiliar foe in the North Miami Beach Chargers. It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

After that stretch, the ‘Cats come back home to play in three straight games vs. Prattville on Sept. 20, Dothan on Sept. 27 and Central-Phenix City on Oct. 4.

Darlington comes to Enterprise with 206-69 head coaching record and several state championships at Apopka High School, in Florida.

He replaces six-year head coach David Faulkner, who resigned after Enterprise won four games in two seasons.
