Last weekend was supposed to be a busy one for Enterprise High School sports teams, but bad weather forced several games to be postponed or cancelled.
Now, several Wildcat teams have travel plans and hope to secure big road wins this weekend and into the start of next week.
EHS hosts Mobile Christian tonight, starting at 5 p.m. This will be the first and only regular season meeting between the two teams.
The Wildcats will then travel to Troy University on Monday, March 11 to play Northview at 4 p.m. and then head over to Rehobeth for a 6:30 p.m. game on Tuesday.
Junior varsity baseball travels to Central-Phenix City on Saturday for a 2:30 game. They will accompany the varsity team to Rehobeth next Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. game.
This will be a free weekend for the girls after they hosted Opp High School on Thursday night. After the break, the team returns to play on Tuesday, March 12 when they host R.E. Lee at 5 p.m. at Donaldson Park.
JV softball travels to Wicksburg tonight for a tournament, with games beginning at 4 p.m.
In their first game since falling to Hoover 2-1 last weekend, EHS boys’ soccer will host Oak Mountain High School this Saturday at 4 p.m. Next Monday, they will travel to Andalusia for a 7 p.m. game.
JV also battles Oak Mountain on Saturday, start time at 2 p.m, and will play Andalusia next Monday at 5 p.m.
Varsity girls travel today to play in the Shamrock Invitational, which gets started at 2:30 p.m.
JV girls will take the field again next Monday at Charles Henderson for a 5:30 p.m. game.
All tennis teams travel to Opelika on March 11 looking to continue a recent string of success.
EHS boys will get a break before traveling to Charles Henderson late next week to meet the Trojans, with a start time of 9:30 a.m. on March 14.
The girls head to Birmingham on March 11-12 to participate in the March Madness Tournament looking to continue momentum from a recent tourney win.
