The Enterprise Wildcats (11-4-2) and Lady Wildcats (13-2-1), having both clinched area soccer crowns, will host the first round of the Class 7A, Area 3 playoffs.

Both boys and girls soccer teams will play host to Smiths Station next Tuesday, April 30.

The Lady Wildcats play at 5 p.m. in Wildcat Stadium, and the EHS boys will follow at 7 p.m.

Enterprise’s boys claimed the area crown on April 16, defeating Prattville on the road 2-1.

On Tuesday night, the Lady Wildcats locked up the area championship with a 4-0 home victory over Prattville. The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 18 but was rescheduled due to weather.

Enterprise led 3-0 at halftime during the game, with Morgan Harrelson and Sydney Garth scoring all three goals.

With 24:24 left in the first half, Harrelson scored on an assist from Garth. At the 12:49 mark, Garth scored on an assist from Ashlyn Purvis.

Minutes later, Harrelson added her second goal on another assist from Garth.

The final goal came courtesy of Garth, who scored on an assist from Jessi Andress with 19:13 left in the game.

Maggie Bryan recorded seven saves in the goal in for the Lady Cats.

Defensively, Purvis and Madilyn Webb each had five steals, and Jillian Martin had three steals.
