Sara Fenn, Instructional Technology and Innovation Coordinator for Eufaula City Schools, has been named the recipient of the 16th annual Marbury Technology Innovation Award by the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE). Each year, the ALSDE chooses one district technology coordinator in the state to receive this esteemed award that honors Chiquita Marbury's invaluable years of service as a technology innovator in Alabama. The Marbury Technology Innovation award recognizes educators who are exemplary models of technology teachers and leaders. Nominees were judged in several categories including innovation and creativity, impact on teaching and learning, leadership, teamwork and scholarship. The award will be presented to Fenn this summer at the Alabama Educational Technology Conference by the State Superintendent of Education.
