Two people are in stable condition after being shot during a graduation party that was held on New Fort Browder Road in Eufaula over the weekend.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 300 block of New Fort Browder Road around 1:45 a.m. Saturday to find that multiple gunshots had been fired, leaving two victims wounded. Both victims were transported to Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula by private vehicle to seek treatment for their injuries.
According to a press release from Eufaula Police Department Chief Steve Watkins, Christopher Dylan Dennard, 18, of Fort Mitchell, sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the chest. Also injured was Kevarus Kemon Washington, 18, of Dothan, who sustained a gunshot injury to the right hand. As of press time, both victims were in stable condition.
“No arrests have been made in the incident; we are still seeking information from the public,” Sgt. Donald Brown of the Criminal Investigation Division saidMonday morning. “The case is still under investigation by the CID.
