Former Eufaula and Arkansas State star Xavier Woodson-Luster is about to enter his third NFL season with his fourth team after the inside linebacker was signed with the Houston Texans following the team’s recent Mini-Camp.
The Texans cut rookie linebacker Chase Middleton, an undrafted free agent from Georgia State, to make room for Woodson-Luster.
Woodson-Luster has previous stints with the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns. He has 2 career tackles in 18 NFL games.
Woodson-Luster graduated from Eufaula High School in 2013 after a stellar career with the then Dan Klages-coached Tigers. At Arkansas State, he had 293 career tackles and was a two-time second-team All-Sun Belt Conference player.
Eufaula is currently represented in the NFL by Woodson-Luster, Los Angeles Rams General Manager Les Snead and Buffalo Bills cornerback Siran Neal.
