A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...

NEARSHORE AND ADJACENT OPEN WATERS FROM WINTHROP HARBOR TO WILMETTE

HARBOR...

At 1230 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the strongest winds had

moved south of the area, but buoy observations indicate that wind

gusts to around 30 kts were still occurring in the wake of the

earlier outflow boundary.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally

higher waves due to gusty winds. Boaters should remain in safe

harbor until the gusty winds subside.

Outflow with the strongest winds had moved south of the area.

However, occasionally gusty winds to around 30 kts will remain

possible through 130 AM CDT in the wake of earlier showers and

storms.
