Neither rain nor bitter cold kept Jackson County’s musicians from their appointed jams Thursday night at Madison Street Park.
The park’s pavilion was crowded with bundled up fans that had come for a good time, cold weather or not and the musicians did not disappoint. Rock and roll, blues, country, gospel and “All I want for Christmas is My Two Front teeth” filled the frosty evening air and set some fans to dancing.
The many musicians taking part in the show took turns in the spotlight singing and playing everything from ukuleles to saxophones and guitars during the show.
This was the second year that the Reagan Jam Session was held at the park.
