The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding Jacorien K. Thomas. Officials with the agency say he is wanted for allegedly shooting and killing Demetrius Traylor in August of 2018 in a mobile home park on Cherry Street in Callaway.
Thomas is described as a 24-year-old black man weighing roughly 160 pounds, about 5-feet, seven inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. Thomas has family ties in Tallahassee and Gulf County, officials say, but was living in Bay County at the time of the homicide.
Warrants have been issued for him on charges of Homicide (manslaughter with a firearm), and possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon. Thomas should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities say..
The United States Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force has posted a $1,500 reward for information leading to the location and arrest of Jacorien Thomas. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 850-747-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 850-785-TIPS.
