July 14 is the last day to bring Hurricane Michael’s vegetative debris to the right of way for pick up by the contractors working for Jackson County and the municipalities of Alford, Cottondale, Marianna, Sneads and Malone. Sneads had opted out, but ultimately opted into the program. Other municipalities in the county, like Graceville and Grand Ridge, will handle their storm debris in house.

On July 15, the debris collectors will start their final pass through the county and the other covered areas. Fines could be assessed against anyone bringing debris to the right-of-way past July 14.
