The Graceville Tigers bumped off the Blue Devils 58-47 Friday night to claim a spot in the championship game of the 1A District 2 Tournament.

Graceville took a quick lead, but the Devils caught up fast and he game settled into a tight back and fourth battle.

Holmes County took an 18-14 lead by the end of the first.

While Graceville let the air out of Blue Devils offense in the second, Holmes County had the devil's own luck and in the closing moments of the second they fought their way back into a 25-24 lead.

The Tigers clawed their way into the lead in the opening minutes of the third, but while initially every point was a struggle, Graceville got on a roll in the final minutes and jumped ahead 43-31.

The Tigers kept that momentum going into the fourth as they continued to dominate the floundering Blue Devils.

In the end Graceville overwhelmed Holmes County and took a 58-47 win.
