Ozark native Chellie W. Phillips will be at the Holman House in Ozark on Saturday, March 23, to meet readers and sign copies of her book “When in Doubt, Delete It!”
Phillips will be at the Holman House from 2:30-5 p.m.
In her book, Phillips uses metaphorical proofreader marks − delete, insert, move, begin and stet − and personal anecdotes to show readers how to improve their lives. “Life Edits” are presented in a quick read format with “Deeper Edits” at the end of each chapter allowing the reader to stop and focus on how each section fits into their daily life.
“When In Doubt, Delete It!” is available online at Amazon at and Barnes & Noble. Books will also be available for purchase on site at the event. Print copies retail for around $18.
A graduate of Carroll High School and Troy University, Phillips began her writing career as a staff reporter for the Troy Progress and served as features editor for the Troy Messenger. Her work has also been published in magazines, and she’s an avid blogger (www.chelliephillips.com). She currently serves as the Vice President of Communications and Public Relations for Coweta-Fayette EMC, located in Palmetto, Georgia.
“When In Doubt, Delete It!” was recently nominated for a 2019 Author Academy Award in the self-help category. A popular vote section can be accessed at http://authoracademyawards.com. The top 10 finalists in each category will be invited to present their book synopsis at the Author Academy Awards Red Carpet Session at the Igniting Souls 2019 Conference in October in Columbus, Ohio.
