Newbia Baptist Church, 3819 County Road 330, Elba, will be having Vacation Bible School June 28-30. Johns Chapel AME Church in Enterprise will hold a Young People's Division Annual Day worship service at the West Side City Park on West College Street in Enterprise on Sunday, June 30, beginning at 9 a.m. for Sunday school and 9:30 a.m. for worship service. A special youth message will be presented by Pastor Willie White Jr. This event was scheduled earlier in the month but was postponed due to the weather. Holmes Baptist Church will host a Fifth Sunday Night Sing on June 30 at 5:30 p.m. The church is located just inside the Barbour County line at 4671 Alabama Highway 51, north of Ariton. Presenting the music will be the Adult Choir, the Children’s Choir, The Ellis’ from Ozark, The Zeiglers from Newton, the Rev. Lester Ford from Dothan, The Trio from Ozark, and others. Chancellor Assembly of God will host The Conrads from Ashford in concert on June 30. Singing starts at 5 p.m. The church is located on Highway 27 in Chancellor between Enterprise and Geneva.

Christ the King Lutheran Church in Enterprise will hold “Miraculous Mission” Vacation Bible School July 8-12. Faith Unity Fire Revival will be held July 11-13 with services at 6 p.m. at Little Sand Ridge Chapel located at 11200 Highway 123 in Ariton (from U.S. 231, the church is about a half-mile on the left). Hunter Nation Gospel Concert will be held Friday, July 12, at the Enterprise Civic Center, 2401 Neil Metcalf Road. Local choirs, artists and praise dance teams will perform as will guest artists from all over Florida.
