Maria's Vineyard

Nestled off the highly traveled Fortner Street in Dothan sits the beautiful and unique wedding venue Maria’s Vineyard. The venue is surrounded by a working muscadine vineyard.

Whether a bride desires a chapel wedding or a gazebo wedding, Maria’s Vineyard can accommodate those needs.

“Maria’s Vineyard is chosen by many for its unique location and setting,” said Manager Veronica Philpot.

According to Philpot, the vineyard provides a setting to create a distinctive and exclusive wedding.

“We offer a Tuscan atmosphere to create the picture perfect setting for a wedding to remember,” Philpot said. “Guests can admire the rose gardens and jasmine covered arbors while they listen to the vineyards tell a story of their own.”

Maria’s Vineyard is known for combining its old world charm with modern day technology, allowing its clients to experience the wedding of their dreams.

The venue can comfortably accommodate 150 to 200 guests.

For the bride and groom wishing to have a fairytale chapel wedding, the chapel offers the couple a special atmosphere. The chapel is beautifully decorated with stained glass windows and crystal chandeliers to mark the perfect amount of elegance.

The venue can provide a breathtaking wedding ceremony for the bride and groom who desire an outdoor wedding. The gazebo at Maria’s Vineyard overlooks the muscadine vineyards, which provides a pretty view of Mother Nature.

For the bride who wishes to enjoy all the vineyard has to offer, a wedding in the gazebo and a reception the chapel area may just be ideal.

“Brides who desire a wedding during the months of August through October, we offer a very unique service to those clients known as the Cocktail Hour. “This service is available during our harvest season. Guests can personally go into the venue and pick muscadines that be enjoyed during cocktail hour.”

The venue also features an on-staff wedding planner.

“I am delighted to not only manage the vineyard, but I also serve as the on-site wedding planner,” Philpot said. “I truly enjoy being a part of our clients’ special day. We have worked very hard to build relationships with the many wedding vendors in the area, and those relationships help the bride to relax and enjoy her special day. That’s what it is all about, have a special day for the special couple. We want our clients to know they are special."
