Pets that need homes
There are always dogs and cats in need of good homes at the Dothan Animal Shelter. To find out more about these or other animals, call the shelter at 334-615-4620. Ask about sponsorships, volunteer opportunities and the shelter’s ongoing wish list.
Save-A-Pet helps find homes for animals at the Dothan Animal Shelter and can also provide information on how to be a sponsor, volunteer, donate items, or how to foster animals. Contact savapetdothan@yahoo.com. The organization is in need of donations of newspapers for lining cages. Newspapers can be delivered to the Dothan Animal Shelter. Save-A-Pet hosts regular adoption events at PetSmart in Dothan. The organization also keeps cats up for adoption at PetSmart after having them spayed or neutered.

Beans is an active, outgoing dog. He is about 3 years old and would make a great running partner.

Cookie is as sweet as her name. Her favorite thing is getting a belly rub.
Hemi
Hemi is a handsome boy that loves treats and would do most anything for them.
Henry
Henry is a big softie. He is a handsome gray pit bull mix.
Pixy
Pixy is a spry, sweet and friendly dog. She is lots of fun.
Cruise
Cruise is a cool cat. He loves attention, loves to talk and is neutered.
Dudley
Dudley is a big boy with a tiny meow. He is about 2 years old and already neutered.
Kodiak
Kodiak loves to sit around and watch the world go by, and thinks he should be king of the home.
Riana
Riana is a cute and playful orange and white kitten.
Toffee
Toffee loves to pose for photos but also loves attention.
