NEW YORK (AP) — A woman and a child have been killed and two teens injured in a fire in a two-story home.

The Fire Department of New York says the call about the blaze at the Queens home on 117th Street came in at 9:38 a.m. Sunday.

Firefighters responded to the scene, and found the four people.

Officials say 51-year-old Silvia Umana and a 7-year-old Guadalupe Perez were killed. A 19-year-old male was in critical condition, and a 15-year-old boy had non-life threatening injuries.

The fire was declared under control shortly before 11 a.m.
