A Dothan man was arrested April 30 in connection with an April 19 triple shooting on Arlington Avenue.

Larry Antionette Garlington, 23, is charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Dothan Police Capt. Will Benny stated Garlington turned himself in Tuesday after 5 p.m.

The incident occurred in the 700 block of Arlington Avenue between Morgan and Moates streets, about two blocks behind the downtown McDonalds on West Main Street.

Three men were injured during the shooting. One of the three men injured, Cornelius Williams, 35, died from his injuries.

According to reports, an altercation between numerous people escalated and resulted in multiple shots fired.

Garlington is currently in the Houston County Jail with no bond.

The case is still under investigation by the Dothan Police Department.
