A Panama City teacher, Kristy Linton Williams, 43, was arrested after police say she stabbed her husband during a dispute.
Panama City Beach Police received a call regarding a stabbing at Laketown Wharf condominiums.
The victim was found with multible stab wounds in his back, chest and arms.
He was taken to a local hospital.
The Bay District Schools Superintendent, Bill Husfelt, sent out a statement about the incidient. He said, “We hold our educators to the highest of standards, professionally and personally, and so news of the arrest of an employee is very disheartening. In this situation, as in all others, the employee is suspended with pay (per the union contract) while the investigation continues."
