Police recently arrested a Troy man on a felony charge alleging he stabbed his girlfriend in the chest with a steak knife during a domestic dispute.

Court records show Troy police investigators arrested Timothy Jerome Davis, 34, of Magnolia Court, and charged him with felony first-degree domestic violence.

Records show police charged Davis with using a wood-handled steak knife to stab his girlfriend in the chest, which left her with a punctured lung. Records show the victim was flown to a hospital in Montgomery for treatment to her injury. The offense happened at Davis’ Magnolia Court residence around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Davis was taken to the Pike County Jail and held on $10,000 bail.
