A second suspect in the Troy shooting that left two men suffering from minor injuries at restaurant has been arrested.
Christopher Jarquis Guice, 27, of Troy was arrested Thursday, June 13, and charged with attempted murder and discharging a gun into an occupied building/vehicle.
Guice is the brother of the first suspect, Alex Ladarius White, 26, of Troy, who was arrested June 10 and charged with attempted murder.
According to Troy Police Chief Randall Barr, White and the 22-year-old male victim were involved in a verbal altercation before the shooting took place in the 100 block of U.S. 231 North.
Barr said the 22-year-old victim was struck multiple times in the lower leg after several rounds were fired into the vehicle he occupied. The first victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. A second victim was a 23-year-old male who was grazed across his stomach during the shooting. The 23-year-old victim received minor injuries, and did not seek immediate medical treatment.
“Information in this case is limited at this time,” Barr said. “The case is still under investigation.”
Both suspects are held in the Pike County Jail. White is held on a $100,000 bond; Guice is held on a $125,000 bond.
