A former school resource officer (SRO) facing charges of sexual contact with three students will go to trial Oct. 15.
Adrian Alexander Folmar, a former Dothan police officer, is charged with three felony counts of a school employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19. The victims are between the ages of 14 and 17, police said. The most recent charge was filed July 19.
Folmar was an initial member of the Dothan Police Department’s Community Impact Team, a small group of officers who engaged in specific community interaction projects.
Folmar was also a basketball player for Dothan High School in the early 2000s and went on to play for Enterprise-Ozark Community College.
