Denise Goodnight Crosby passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2020. She was a 1982 graduate of Geneva County High School. Denise was preceded in death by her grandparents, Acie and Esther Taylor of Geneva, AL, Catherine and Adrian Gilmore of Hartford, AL, and Bernard Goodnight of Water Valley, MS. She is survived by her mother, Dianne Goodnight of Hartford, AL; father, Ronnie Goodnight of Hartford, AL; brothers, Kevin Goodnight of Dade City, FL and Dennis Goodnight of Hartford, AL; sister, Veronica Taylor of Hartford, AL; niece, Ashlyn Exum of Hartford, AL; aunts and uncles, Gloria Graddy of Hartford, AL, Kenneth (Donna) Goodnight of Hartford, AL; cousins, Teresa Hughes, Amy Warren, and Lisa Goodnight, Joey Graddy, and Leise Graddy. A private memorial service for family will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. A visitation for other extended family and friends will be held at the home of Dianne Goodnight (308 S 2nd Ave. Hartford, AL) on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In the meantime, the family will be at the home of Dianne Goodnight. Mrs. Ernestine Clark Dunnaway of Slocomb passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Westside Terrace in Dothan. She was 83. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at New Teamon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lee Chorn officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. Mrs. Dunnaway was born February 19, 1937 in Geneva County to the late Clifton and Beatrice Deese Clark. Ernestine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of New Teamon Baptist Church and loved the LORD. For her working years, she was self-employed as a cosmetologist. She enjoyed her family, working outside, shopping, and helping others. Ernestine was a strong member of her community where she gave so much and asked so little in return. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Royce Dunnaway; and a sister, Linda Zanboni. Survivors include two daughters: Elisa Crutchfield (Bobby), Geneva and Emmie Reynolds (Mark), Dothan; four grandchildren: Jordan Rett Bailey (Haley), Amy Ryann Bailey, Alex Clark Reynolds and Addison Claire Reynolds; great grandchildren: John Rett Bailey, Connor Reece Gillo, and Emma Claire Gillo; and other extended family and friends. Mr. Steadman Lamar Hollis of Dothan passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the age of 80. Mr. Hollis was born March 12, 1940 to Clarence Edward Hollis and Ganey Driggers Hollis. His grandparents were Margaret Herring Driggers Snell and Emmett and Dovie "Holly" (Reynolds) Hollis. Mr. Hollis was a lifelong resident of Brannon Stand and Dothan, AL. Mr. Hollis' brother William Issac "Ikey" Hollis preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Lunseth Hollis, daughter Patti Hollis Trippeer, son Jeffrey and Sarah Hollis, and 4 grandchildren.
