Chad Eubanks of Ashford passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the age of 48. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. Saturday, prior to the service. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and Saturdays with Alabama football. One of his greatest joys was coaching midget league football and working with kids. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Bronnie Odom, Ennis and Ellen Eubanks, Ed Eubanks and Monty Eubanks. He is survived by his son Gunnar Eubanks, parents Harry and Gale Eubanks, mother of his son Kim Eubanks, aunts and uncles John Howard and Emily Sanders, Bill and Morry Bootle, Mack and Carole Eubanks, Larry and Sarah Eubanks. Pallbearers will be Eric Sanders, Jeremy Sanders, Nathan Worsham, Bart McWaters, Press Lawrence, Ryan Love, Greg Rogero and Eric Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Oxidine, Jonothan "J.J." Eddie Lou Fitch, a resident of Gordon, Alabama, passed away surrounded by her family at her home on October 3, 2019. She was 103 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Ruben Grimes officiating. Burial will follow at the Dothan City Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11AM, one hour prior to the service. She was a lifelong member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church in Gordon, Alabama and she was a homemaker. During her life, she enjoyed attending church, gardening, and cooking for her family. She said numerous times that the key to her long life was "treating other people as you would want to be treated". She had an unwavering faith in God and depended on Him to guide her every day. "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" was her wish which He graciously granted early Thursday morning. Mrs. Fitch is preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Fitch; and her grandson, James (Jimmy) Floyd Fitch, III. Survivors include her sons, James Floyd Fitch, Jr. (Emily) of Ashford, Alabama, and Frank Fitch (Sarah) of Gordon, Alabama; three grandchildren, Pam Fitch of Auburn, Alabama, Jill Fitch of Pike Road, Alabama, and Lee Fitch (Amy) of Gordon, Alabama; great grandchildren, Elliot Fitch, Brandon Fitch, Adam Fitch, and Zane Fitch. Robert Wellons Lee Jr., 85, of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Portsmith, Virginia to the late Robert Wellons Lee, Sr., and Dorothy (Walters) Lee. Funeral Services will be 3 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with visitation one hour before service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years: Jean Mack Linch Lee, daughter: Geggie Lee, brother: Ronnie Lee, sisters: Jean Lee Cowan and Patty Lee. Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Robert proudly served in the United States Army, retiring as an SSG. He served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He then went onto work as a Chief Warden with the Houston County Sheriff's Department. Survivors include his children: Bobby (Donna) Lee, Martha (Jim) McLain, and Joette (Bruce) Booker; brother: Richard Lee, grandchildren: Chris (Carla) Lee, Kassi (Jose) Torres, Cody Lee, Mandy (Clint) Ludlam, Ashton Booker, and Ashton Bradshaw; great-grandchildren: Landon Lee, Adrian Torres, Kamran Torres, Jeremy Lee, Kaylee Ludlam, Mason Booker, Ty Booker, Lottie Lewis, Cayden Lewis, and Bailynn Burch. Annette Singleton Lowe, age 77, of Maryville, TN passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at UT Medical Center. She worked for the Brevard County School System in Florida, with distinction for 30 plus years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, with a phenomenal personality, who never met a stranger. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Maryville Public Library and the Maryville College Performing Arts Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.C and Muriel Singelton.
