Fort Rucker RV explosion

An explosion inside an RV parked at Fort Rucker's Lake Tholocco on Friday morning injured four people and heavily damaged the RV.

Four people were transported to an area hospital after an explosion in an RV at the camp ground of Lake Tholocco at Fort Rucker on Friday morning.

According to information released by Fort Rucker's Public Affairs Office, the possible gas explosion was reported shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday. Four civilians were injured. They were treated at the scene and then transported to a local area hospital by the U.S. Army Air Ambulance Detachment, Flatiron.

The Fort Rucker Fire Department extinguished the fire, which is under investigation by Fort Rucker officials.
