Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was recognized by The Sporting News as a first team Preseason All-America.

Alabama juniors Jerry Jeudy, a wide receiver, and linebacker Dylan Moses are among seven Crimson Tide players named to The Sporting News’ Preseason All-America list.

Jeudy and Moses are on the first team. Second-team honorees from the Tide include quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and offensive lineman Alex Leatherwood on offense. Defensive players on the second team include defensive lineman Raekwon Davis, outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings and safety Xavier McKinney.

The Tide’s seven players were the most selected from any college team. Reigning national champion Clemson, with five preseason All-America selections, was second.

The Sporting News is one of five sources used to determine consensus All-American status, along with the Associated Press, the Football Writers Association of American, the American Football Coaches Association and the Walter Camp Foundation.
